Candice Hsu, adjunct instructor, received her BS in Business Administration, minor in American Sign Language (ASL) from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. Other education includes two years of the Deaf Interpreting Training Series [Certified Deaf Interpreter, CDI] at Road of Deaf Interpreting (RDI) at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Current research interests include: ASL Syntax; ASL Classifiers; and ASL Linguistics as Hsu is passionate about keeping up with different ASL linguistics, and attending workshops. She teaches beginning level 1 and 2 ASL courses.
She was spotlighted by the New Jersey Department of Human Services during National Disability Employment Awareness Month in October 2021. She received Salutes Champions for Disabilities Award, Passaic County Advisory Council on Disability (2012).
